It's for ln106
For brake and rotor upgrades
Witch are not needed for 33", 35"yes
Look on a site called low range
farting is alot like jxxxxxg off. both provide instant gratification, but neither is a long term solution to the actual problem......................

Pretty much
There is a disk brake rear conversion
But you need to to a tail shaft park brake conversion with it
Making it like a 1k conversion
But you do a 60 series landcruser drum brake upgrade
And just change the piston in the rear brakes
But the proportion valve will need to be set correctly and not maxed out if you do that
As locking the rear is too easily done

I'm running stock brakes all round with the 1 1/16 master (80 series) and 80 series booster
With the proportion valve set for 6" lift (I'm 5") 275/75/16 mud tyres
And I have no issues with my brakes at all
Only issues is the hand brake won't hold her on hills as it's not powerful enough with the 33's

ok cool thanks john

so what r some of the best things to do to these hiluxs to get them performing really well off road?

also what offset rims should i get to widen the track? and r wheel spaces a good idea?

im gonna make up diff guards n re-enforce the diffs and bash plates underneath, also gonna make tray and rock sliders, already made xrox style bullbar to suit winch, have air compressor under bonnet and gonna put air tank under tray, not sure if i should go air lockers or just do the cheap rachet lockers, also thinking turbo kit for my 3l, i dont want my budget to blow out to far but i do want it to perform well, have a few mates that have lifted patrols n would like to get the old girl to out perform them

im rocking a stock 2.8l
the only time you'll notice the difference or shortage in power is in a mud pit, or bog hole
the rest of the time lockers, good tyres, and decent suspension will do the rest
I've got lsd front and rear, but wish i had lockers(never had the $$$ at the time)
i went this way to keep the cost down and the repair bills down after each trip

as far as off set of wheels, I've got no idea on that, my rig came with 16x8 when i brought and i just used them

my list of mods would be
in this order would be
lift
2" body lift
3" spring with no extended shackles
wheel alignment
caster wedges and new front and rear drive shafts
diff breathers to suit new lift
purchase 80 series master and booster (as long as you have 4 bolt master(if not order adaptor kit and run 1" bore gm))
good set of 32-33" tyres
fit brake upgrade
lockers with air tanks
winch (or winch then lockers)

as far as performance it wouldn't worry me having any as i have more then 1 car, so power don't concern me, when i want to go fast i just take my other car for a so called hoon

so far lift all fitted looks really big n little funny with 31s only fitted hoping the 33x12.5x15s will make it look more to scale with -44 15x10 rims. still not sure what tyres im going but leaning towards mickey claws ttc's

well fitted 3 degree casters rear and 5mm spacer to space down the centre bearing and the tail shaft looks like its running sweet not needing a tail shaft spacer yet but will check under flex

front im also running 3 degree wedge but uni isnt quite square so will try a 5 degree or 2 3s just ordered front tail shaft spacer

also fitting high steer now to get some flex in the front and if that doesnt get it flexing ill do some pivot shackles front and rear.

so far ordered the high steer weld in plate for surf steering box will make my own drag link. steering rod, and steering arms.

sorry no pics but need to buy a new camera

putting more angle is not the be all to fix the drive line,

you need to work out the angle and calculate

there is a little write up on the ls1 forum
http://www.ls1.com/forums/f66/setting-p ... gle-16320/

if you want to have a read

yeah thanks guess ill see how it goes when i drive it, and go from there

and can any1 tell me if i can get rims that will give me the right offset with 15x10 rims to add all the extra width to aid in wheel track? if u get what i mean.. if i wanted that would that mean i need -82 offset? and if so do any1 even do an offset like this? or will i need to run spacers to get what im after?

Or you can run IFS Hilux front hubs and IFS Hilux rear diff to increase the track width by a total of about 10cm

Find a wrecked Hilux from 99-2004 and just steal those parts. Not 100% sure what you need been awhile since I have looked into the mod

Depends on what you want to achieve, you can do a RUF (rear up front) relocate the front diff and run larger tyres. But honestly everything you can think of doing the old hilux's have been done and documented. Have a google and you will be surprised at the information available to you.
