Castor and suspension performance

Castor and suspension performance

I've always been told that there is no such thing as a stupid question, but I think that I am about to ask one.

I had some MR UCAs installed and the new geometry moved my front wheels closer to the back of the arch. Having researched this site and PMed a few members, I knew that the castor was off, but I had trouble finding anyone that had a clue how to adjust it. Today I found someone who fixed me up for a whole $25. The question is coming… just wait. When I got behind the wheel and started to drive I immediately felt a difference in the steering, which makes sense, of course. But… here comes the stupid question… is it possible that my suspension also performs better? Before I got the castor sorted out I was complaining about really stiff suspension, but post-castor adjustment the ride feels much smoother. Is that a possibility or have I been breathing too much diesel fumes?
