ln106r suspension upgrade

hey, i was thinking about lifting my suspension from 2"suspension to 3" and 1" body to 2" body.
do i need a full lift kit or can i skip out on buying a few things?
also will i need to extend my steering column and cut the firewall?

hey ive got a 3 1/2 inch lift in my hilux.. performs really good.. Havnt done body lift yey, but my mates has and is okay..
and to extend the steering collum is cheap an even cheaper if you or someone can weld

so what sort of driving do you want to do? what size tyres do you have? having a 5 inch lift in a hilux is asking for a it to be on its side alot
