Ive got one and havent had any problems. Get a Vnm kit and you get the spacer. Im just using an adhesive 50x50mm foam which has adhesive on one side stuck to the plastic Ic cover.

Just buy her a nice pair of high heels. Works every time, plus you can say "they will make it easier to get into the lux" :)

My small problems were the fuel line from the filter to the pump was too short, needed to cut a small piece out of the tunnel so the transfer case lever stopped rubbing a hole through the gear lever boot, modify the bullbar bracket and make new rubber linings for inside the wheel arches.

Cheers

Do you get these same problems when you wind up the torsion bars? Not that Id wind them up all the way, just curious as Im thinking about winding them up at least half way.

Suspension and bodylift are two totally different things. Bodylift lifts the body up off the chassis using blocks, not moving parts. Suspension lifts the entire ute. Your 08 lux doesn't actually have torsion bar suspension, it has coil/strut assembly and can't simply just be wound up.

Dont cut the shrould put blocks in and lower the fan.Did you extend the air intake? I used 3 inch piece of exhault and pipe clamps for mine and you will need to extend the steering aswell as the brake vacum hose.
