Will Prado 150 rims fit my 2012 Hilux? Also 265 on 6.5 rim?

I'm looking at these 2 sets of rims off a 150 Prado, one is from a GX (6.5 inch wide) and the other from a GXL (7.5 inch wide). Can I fit 265 tires on a 6.5 inch rim? Legally or... will they even stay on? Would I have issues airing down with such a narrow rim?

the offset will be wrong I think. If you want to go 4 wheeling you want 16*8 rims I think, more sidewall

Found some 2021 Prado wheels today which are 17x7.5 with 25+ offset.... will these fit?

Please chip in anyone who knows. I'm really liking these Prado alloys if they fit.

"Fitting" and being the right ones for the job are often 2 different things. You'll need to check the offsets AND hub clearances AND Full lock clearances at ALL extensions and compressions of the suspension. If all goes well there then all you need to do is check the regulations in your home state / territory and see if you need an engineering certification. This is because the different manufacturers possibly go through a different testing and certification system to each other and ALL the details and specs need to be checked.
Sound like fun yet? 40 odd years ago when I started out I found out that my kombi would take rims from my falcon or a volvo or a few other things because they had "SIMILAR" stud patterns. "Making" things fit back in those days wasn't too hard. These days however you need to remember that if something goes wrong. The one who does the changes is the one who where's the consequences.
