35's on IFS

Postby Darth_Wolverine on Tue, 16 Nov 2021 1:25 +0000

Hi all
I have done search but had no real luck so how strong are the IFS CV joints?

I have just scored a LN111 with a L67 and planning mods, was going to stick to 33's but have been offered a set of 35's for a box of beer so looking very attractive...

If i am not running a front locker, can factory CV's handle running the 35's or wil i just end up spending my weekends replacing busted parts

Thanks

Depends on how you drive it. They are strong but they have their limits.
I might be wrong.

2009 BMW X5 - destroyed by a hail storm
2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 - SOLD
