225/75r16 is generally the biggest size you can fit on the stock 16".
245/75r16 are possible but you have to find a shop that will fit them
Personally recommend the bridgestone desert duellers 697s.
Excellent all rounder and good prices roughly $230 for a 225

X 2.
I run 265 70 16 Bridgestone 697LT's, about $250 each from Bob Jane, on 7" rims. Very happy with them and have my 3rd set on the car, I travel in the deserts and replace my tyres fairly regularly.
The tyre repair guy in Coober Pedy gave me some good advise on tyre selection, based on his experience repairing about 20 tyres every day for years --
1. They must be round and black -- very important.
2. Look for the highest Load Rating, ie. a 123 rated tyre will be a much tougher tyre than a 109 rated tyre.
3. Choose a tread pattern that you think will look tough on your truck.

And the Bridgies are one of the very few tyres available in 225/70/17 for the 2014 on SR 17 x 6 stockies.

A big tick to Bridgestone for giving us a decent stock size replacement. :D
