Hi there everyone, first tie poster, have been reading the tires sections, used ther search havent found what Im looking for yet so asking.

anyway 06 SR5 double cab 4x4. Wanting to put some 20's on it. Have been told the Cooper Zeon is a good all terrain tire. like the 285-50-20 but have been told they dont quite fit without fouling and that a 265-50-20 will fit fine. This is with standard suspension.

so I see you can get a 50mm spacer that goes in the front above the strut that solves the typical front end sag.

my vehicle doesnt have a winch or bar or anything other than abit of age related sag.

So does anyone know will a 285 tire fit if I put in the 50mm spacer.

Cheers in advance

Your overall diameter of the 285 is only 31.25" should go with stock suspension. The only issue you might have, is the width but the right offset will fix this along with some cut and grinding of the inner guard and front plastic bar and whatever else needs doing.

Nothing is impossible.

Search for dangers of strut spacer’s mate. You might be ok if you’re not going to wheel it.
