correct rim offset for 33's

Postby little bitty on Thu, 26 Apr 2012 3:34 +0000

hi
i have recently purchased some 90% tread 33" big horns on "100 series" rims....i think. for $700 i bought them coz they were a steal.
anyway, i took them home and fitted them. and the offset was all wrong the tires scrapped on the control arms and leafs, the car wouldnt move.
im tossing up wether to get spacers off ebay for 150 bucks, or do my research and get the proper rims for alot more. it seems that all second hand rims, noone knows the offset and i dont wanna be wasting my time getting the wrong rims again.
any info would be greatly appreciated.
