Removal of Dashboard for an '04 Hilux

Hi There,

Just wondering if anyone has recently removed thier dashboard in an '04 Hilux? Santa bought me a new CD player & I am wanting it insert that as well as my CB into the dash to replace the factory CD player & radio. Anyone have any good tips, hints or links they can send would be greatly appreciated.

I assume you've done this by now?

If not: It is a straightforward job IMO. Just pop off the black trim piece that surrounds it and everything will be there in front of you. No need to remove entire dash.

How do you "pop off" the black trim surround? I want to remove a UHF from my 04 Hilux to put in my recently purchased 08 Hilux. It's one of those radios with a seperate face. The guts is behind the centre dash under the radio/cd player.
