6 seater Hilux mod

Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section but not sure where else to put it..

Has anyone put the single cab bench seat in the front of a dual cab legally?? The reason is for the growing family
I really want to keep the hilux if I can... and there aren't many option for a 6/7 seater ute unless you get a iveco daily 4x4 or something similar... I know that there appears to be a six seater hilux in the 4x4 but it the 2012 or around there??(not even sure if it was released in Aus)

I have a 6 seat workmate. honestly the front middle seat is useless. it is like 20cm wide and the child will be sitting sideways to avoid the gear stick.

you also have to consider what age the child is to legally sit there without a booster seat. once they are that size/age it is only going to be a short trip scenario taking a bunch of kids to sport in the weekend or something.

yeah thanks.. my wife is little so it wouldnt be a problem with one kid up front

I agree with landslide.. that middle seat is useless (even for a kid) unless you want to keep elbowing the middle passenger in the gut when you change gears..
