I've thought of doing the same thing, and I'm only 6'2".

Just wondering if there was an answer to this post? If not longer rails, are there any after market seats which create some more leg room?

Yeah, I'm 6'5" and feel a bit cramped. For me it's not really so much a leg room issue but the steering wheel is very low, even at full tilt, so me knees hit whenever I change gears. Plus the top of the speedo is obscured from my line of sight. Mine's a 2015 - last of the old shape - so there's no steering column reach adjustment. I was wondering whether I could somehow extend the steering column in order to make the wheel higher? That'd make things less way less cramped. Hell, on my old '94 Lux I could tilt the wheel so high it was like driving a bus... Anyway, I hear your pain.

Hey mate - I see you're in Adelaide. Perhaps pay a visit to Willshire Motor Trimmers http://www.willshire.com.au/

I'm around 200cm tall and also looked into this when I got my SR5. Unfortunately, due to the side airbags in my seat they were unwilling to make any modifications. They did indicate that in some cases it is possible, however. Worth you dropping by for them to take a look at your Hilux.

For the record, I have the optional leather interior with electric driver's seat - I set the base all the way back and all the way down.
