I have one of these on my truck and no it doesn't attach anywhere to the bullbar. 4 bolts, remove the old stock plate and you will find a small extra piece at the front. Remove it to and this bolts up in place. Easy 30 min job with the right tools mate and heaps thicker than the stock.

1 more question, can you fit it with an ARB recovery point with this bash pan?

not sure about the ARB recovery points. but i had hooks on my 99 3RZ-FE and after fitting bud's front bashplate i wasnt able to refit the hooks. but i have a Prowler bar coming from him that is winch compatiable and 2 recovery points on it for $1475 shipped to perth.

I have had a small issue with mine. The 2 bolts at the rear of the plate (it's lowest point) I have bent and destroyed. Must have caught on a rock or something. First ones then rattled loose and one fell out before I noticed and then the 2nd set destroyed the threads in the cross member, so I had to drill and tap new holes and relocate.

Maybe I just wheel it too hard, or maybe it needs a slight redesign? Make the rear bolts countersunk somehow? Allen key countersunk bolts would be good although I would be worried about destroying the top of the bolt and not being able to remove. Needs a recess for a normal bolt to sit in that protects it somehow. Just a thought?

Does Bud come here often?? Or Matt can you pass on feedback? I am close by to Buds shop, so if he wants I can drop in one day to his shop.

Pretty keen to get a hold of one of these so I can hit the tracks again. Bashed in my stock one last week and am driving around without one. Sent you an email Matt. Hoping you still have some in stock.
