Anyone know if I can just bolt on the turbo and go from a 2.4 surf to my 5le or does the injector pump need something doing to it or any other mods required? Am in Australia

Yes, will bolt up to 5LE head & pump will need to be turned up a little.
Fuel pump is same as pump on 2LT-E (probably what the turbo came from) and under a round black cap on top there is a locking nut with a flat blade screwdriver slot inside it for adjustment. Only small adjustments, 1/8 - 1/4 turn max at a time.
A boost gauge & Pyro are recomended so you don't increase fuel/EGT's too much.
Depending on where the pyro/EGT gauge is fitted, over 450 deg. is getting hot.
Factory boost on CT20 is 7-8psi and ran 11-12psi on mine for years with no issues tho the 2LTE has lower factory compression to handle it, on a factory built 5L/5L-E engine I wouldn't recomend much over 9-10psi safely.

HTH.

Hi guys, I replaced my 5L with a 5LE and have a CT20 turbo off a surf I was intending to fit to the 5LE. I spoke to a turbo guru who said cant be done, too many pump issues. I am sure it can as it came off an EFI turbo surf. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Mick.

the only issue to the computer you need to chip it and not just play with the pump

the 3l and 5l only need the pump played with (go black then tune turn it back a bit)
