Grease leaks on drive shaft

Hey all.

Replaced drive shafts not even 2 weeks ago. Old ones had cracked and leaked grease/started to crack.

Checked the left drive shaft this morning (where the leaking one originally was) and it seems like theres still grease all over it. It looks fresh but I didn't clean the old grease leakage/spill first I'm not too sure.

Surely the new drive shafts aren't cracking already? Could it be a component above it that's leaking?

I've wiped it clean so if it happens again I'll know for sure it's not residue from the old DC's.

Thanks

EDIT: If it helps, the colour of the grease was dark grey.

Pics didnt come out.
You have posted in the 78 to 05 page, I didnt think they had independant front ends in those days. What model is it and is it the rubber boots where the cracking was?

Yeah some models did - are we talking from drive shafts here?

Any update after wiping the new ones clean?

@Everyone sorry boys had a long day at work.
