Hmm... sounds like this is an auto issue. I just stop... neutral trannie and change to h4/l4 and get a little clunk as it engages. Seems that autos don't do h4-l4 easy, but heck h4 does most things you need in an auto.

First 10000 kms mine was doing the same, now working perfect...smooth like butter.

Hello, I just found this thread

I have a 2014 SR which has now done 45K. Has had this problem since new. Not always, but stationary, in neutral, crunches going from H4 to L4.

Doesn't always do it, but did it again last weekend. Workaround is to turn the engine off.

I raised it with the dealer - it didn't do it when I tried to demonstrate. Said they had never heard of it before.

Try park instead of neutral see if that helps... neutral allows the shaft to turn but park doesn't ;)

Also short sharp movement from h to l on the stick helps.
