hilux speedo correction (help me)

Postby mattywatty on Sat, 07 Mar 2015 7:07 +0000

Hi all new to the forum, I have had an extensive look around the forum and even been in contact with toyota to try and find this out.

I have a 1991 LN107R toyota hilux SR5 it does not appear that the diff ratio has been changed and only tire size, the previous owner admitted that he had tried to fix it by switching speedo gears, my speedo is wildly incorrect and all over the place and im wanting to fix it up, so I need to know what the original speedo gear tooth count was currently atm it has a 11.28 fitted and it doesnt appear that anything else has been modified.

Thanks in advanced any help appreciated
