Front electric diff lock

Hi guys. Have searched forum and can't find any info. If I am running my '93 Hilux in 4wd I assume the front diff is working normally. Does the electric lock actually lock up the diff so it is rigid.? I.E. No slip, and will drive front wheels at same speed? Jim
