caster/Pinion angle ln106
does anyone know what is factory, angle or caster
and in the rear I've heard to run 1 deg of difference but witch way i don't know (i think up)
got copies of my last 2 wheel alignments
one company +1.5* +-75* (+0.75* - +2.25*)
second company +1* +-45* (+.55* - +1.45*)
my caster measurement is +3.5* at 1 shop (done nilly 1 year ago)
+3.3* (done a weeks ago)
angles I'm reading with digital protractor front
gearbox 3.4* up (86.6*)
Shaft 20.5* down
Pinion 6.5* up (83.5*)
without getting custom caster wedges made (witch you can from usa just not local)
my choices are 1,2,3,4 and 6*
rear
gearbox 3.4* down (86.6*)
Pinion 9.3* up (80.7*)
5.9* deg difference
can't get 5* so 4 or 6* is what ill need if i get local,
4* will leave me with 1.9* up
and
6 will be 0.1* down
doing my own reading/research what i can is next to nothing on factory caster, but pinion angle, most are fitting 80 series high mount pinion, and rewelding the knuckles to zero the angle of the 3 uni (at pinion) to run parrell to the tailshaft
now i won't be doing either of those, just shimming
any help with any info or spec is much appreciated
Thanks john
