As anything it will have to be engineered. I doubt it will be the same cost as standard rego each year.
This Is NSW thing so not sure where you live but its just certification from a certified inspection station.

This has got me thinking.

I have a LS3 Walkinshaw and auto from a HSV R8 in my shed, mean't for my 77 SS Torana. Runs and has good compression on all cylinders plus I have the loom and anchillaries that came with it. Soon as its confirmed to do the SAS & 4-Link on a 2wd I'm putting my SR5 D/C up for sale and buying a cheap dual cab v6 2wd.

Has anyone done a v8 conversion to these trucks?

Wasn't sure if it was called the same in other states. Sold my Mazda because I was sick of being questioned about the mods everytime i drove it even though it was engineered and built properly.

Yeah can be done, it will be a lengthy process and I don't know if it ends up any cheaper than doing it to a 4wd

Any updates on this? Surely it could still be cheaper if you're starting with a vehicle worth like $20k or less (2nd hand v6) may not ever do it, but I still love the concept

Haha make no mistake mate I'd like it, but after wheels and tires, injectors and soon a regear all in a month there ain't no way I'll be buying it haha if ya haven't already I'd be throwing it in the 4 sale section. Good luck with it haha
