Auto Trans Service

Postby Skrewdriver on Mon, 11 Jun 2012 2:08 +0000

Hello Guys,

Although not for a Hilux, this post is in regards to my partners 1999 KN Laser Hatch. I would like to know if anyone can recommend a top notch auto transmission mechanic in Newcastle, Central Coast or Sydney. I am willing to travel for the right person. It has done 400,000km, so I want to throw a bit of cash at it, and make it last. Also would it be advisable to either drive or trailer the car to the mechanic on the day? It is not slipping, so no concerns there.

Thanks in advance,

Peter

No advice on the trans guys, but I'd trailer it just incase they need it longer than you anticipated.
