Gday all,
I have a 93 hilux and my rear tailshaft just shit itself and fell off, just need to know if there is a difference between single cab and dual cab tailshafts??

Cheers
John

Can't see why they would be different, chassis lengths are all the same aren't they?

How did it shit its self and fall off? Could have been nasty. I would agree with Mitch, they should be the same.

Cheers,

Chris.

My mate had this happen to a 1980's model Lux. He did away with the centre bearing and went with a single piece tail shaft. Had it custom made by a tailshaft mob it was fairly cheap from memory and he said they do quiet a few.

Go a one piece shaft.... I have one on mine and never looked back, it's so dam good over the centre bearing option.

Yeh my mate had a extra cab hilux and had to get a tailshaft off the same cab hilux.. Ive got a single cab and mine is different again.. A one piece one is the way to go rather then a shitty centre bearing. let me no how you go..
