Im just wondering if any of you have any tips and whatnot about buying mars performance headlights (angel eyes) and also what upgrades from the manufacturer are worth it.

Thanks

I'd check to see they are legal. What these light companies say and what is written in the ADR are often two very different things.
I might be wrong.

You've posted in the wrong section for starters but anyway most I've delt with may look ok but the light output is absolute rubbish. If ya don't want holos then I'm not sure what else there is. Sorry.

Have played with plenty of different types and brands over the years in many different vehicles at work. Unless ya spend big bucks the h4 hid just don't last cos of the design. If ya just after better light output go for some quality led replacements. Steer clear of units with cooling fans as they tend to fail. I personally went for the brand ultra vision. Jw speaker make quality kits as well. There are some that protest and hate upgrading bulbs for legal reasons and say they are too bright for oncoming traffic. But! Nine out of ten modern cars come with leds from factory, yes they are bright af but adjusted correctly they are fine. Theres my 2c lol.

Agreed - the modern cars do have bright af - but these vehicles also have self-leveling mechanisms.

I've changed my bulbs and wiring harness as per this thread on tacomaworld, my standard lights are brighter than f:

I'd do a build thread but I'm too embarrassed to take photos of the wiring situation under the hood and dash of my hilux.
