OPT7 COLOR SMART LED STRIP DOOR ASSIST WIRING

Hi everyone,
I just got this kit hooked up in my car. It comes with an auxiliary wire that you are supposed to wire into the door lights/ dome lights so when you open the door the lights will come on white.
The door assist wire is 2 wires, positive and negative. Where would I need to wire these wires to?
