HI ,
To all ,first post so here goes,,
As per many wiring a prodigy p2 brake controller in .Run pos neg cables into cabin from battery [with fuse ] . Ran positive and neg from cabin to trailer plug . All wires are connected except for the siginal input brake wire . I am to big to get under the dash [to accesss brake switch ], is there an alternate pick up point for the brake wire ????????????
MY12 upgrade [last of the 3.0ltr]
Does have factory tow bar

Checked onsite to no avail .
Is there a sticky on this ???

I just ran an extra cable down to the trailer plug and terminated into the brake light wire. Didn't like the idea of cutting wires under the dash.

First, in oz, a fuse in the supply to the brake controller is does not comply, has to be an auto reset circuit breaker (20 amp for single axle).

As was suggested earlier, use the second wire you run to the trailer socket as a brake light feed instead of an earth for the trailer brakes.
