HI Lads, im wanting to install a led strip on my headboard about 30cm long. do i need to run a relay or fuse? also any diagrams on how to run it. thanks

Hey mate I'm wouldn't use a relay as a light strip will draw bugger all current, I would definitely fuse it though. Check your packaging to see the current draw of your led strip and get a fuse a few amps higher than that, as for wiring it up I'd go from the battery through a fuse to your switch and from your switch to the light. It's a pretty basic circuit. I can draw you a diagram of you need it. Just make sure the switch you get is rates for more current than your lights draw

30cms leds wont draw more than a few amperres. Get a 10A fuse, an inline fuse box for it and a suitable wire capable for more amperres than your fuse.
