Solutions for mounting fuse blocks under bonnet

What solutions have people tried for mounting a fuse block and other bits and pieces like dual battery solenoid so mega fuses etc under the hood. I've seen some screw gear to top of factory fuse block holder (not liking the idea of having to remove if a fuse use arises and will only hold a smaller block), some screw straight to panels (prefer to keep new holes to minimum), or have seen a couple of pictures of a piece of ply cut to size and bolted to side panel and then everything screwed to it (prefer this idea as it keeps it all separated, secure and easy to access).

What's people's thoughts. I'll be finalising. Options this week and putting up pictures of final idea and build process.

Does anyone know the thread sizes of the inbuilt bolt holes you find along the side panels under the bonnet.

Used quite a few of thease units mounted in the car behind the clove box. Run trailer plug 7 core wire to it and all led micro switches in the dash tripping the relays. Work a treat and neat as.
Cost like 20
Bucks a module from eBay.

I put mine up behind glove box too.

I brought a Blue Seas 100A fuse block off ebay. These give you a dozen outgoing fused circuits including negative terminals. I mounted that and my relays on a piece of flat ally, painted black, sized to fit where the 2nd battery would go, there's existing tapped holes there to mount with.
My 2nd battery will be going under the tray.
It keeps all your secondary electrical components in one place, you can label the fuses so you know what's what, works ok.

Thanks guys for the ideas. Box head and Richie, your behind the glovebox mount, did you just run some 8 mm twin core from battery to fuse block. That gadget you pictured looks beyond my electrical skills. I've got a baintech fuse block to make it real easy for me.
