Turn Signal Problem

Turn Signal Problem

Postby JOEKA on Sat, 03 May 2014 6:33 +0000

I got rid of my genuine aluminium bulbar off my 06' hilux and went for a standard plastic item, now that the turn signal wiring that goes to the lights on the old bulbar aint getting used, the turning signal lights flash really fast as if a globe is busted, I cant figure it out...

the wires are green, white, red,

green being turn signal, red being parkers, and white im guessing is the earth for both.

Any advice?

Not really a fix but you could buy an 8 pin LED flasher relay off ebay for 8 bucks, replaces your exisiting flasher up under the dash behind steering wheel. Should solve your fast flash problem.

No need for wiring resistors and the like. Pull old one out and plug new one in and it will have a constant speed flash .
I bought it when i installed my LED tail lights. Works great.
