Sweet thats all good! I'm going to fit mine to my rhino rack aero bars i just need to get into the workshop at work to make a suitable bracket. Has anyone used the 4wdsupacentre light bars? i ordered my 32" which was very cheap compared to elsewhere and from everything i have read so far and also the look and feel of it, it should be pretty good. for the price anyway
Pretty excited to get it mounted and wired up

I thought the issue was that the light will shine into another drivers eyes over a hill, before you can see their lights, so you risk blinding them before you dim...?

I found a picture of a guy's wiring for a Light bar which I thought was interesting! Saves drilling through the roof I guess.

I think they are awesome for the coin, I bought a 6in for the rear and 22in for the front with one of their wiring looms for the front bar

I have my 32" on the roof rack bars, I had to press a couple of brackets so they would mount to the bar correctly and not get in the way with my other gear on the bar.
The light is ok... it does definitely improve the visibility with a nice wide of light. But it does not illuminate over a large distance I found. If your looking for the distance in light I would recommend backing it up with some good spotties

It all depends what led bar you buy, if its the simple cree led bars then yeah there not that great for long distance
and you can pick up a 32 inch bar for around 60 to 80 bucks on eBay.

there is also 5D which is ament to be even better, if you go on youtube they should you comparisons

4wd super center led bars are Cree, there cheap and nasty. it wont take long before moisture/condensation gets inside on of the reasons why there so cheap

Yeah that's right they are the reflector cup type of lenses. I must admit I have two 6" hanging from my sports bar for when were camping and or reversing in the middle of nowhere in the dark and they light up the area pretty good.

Yeah the cheap ones from eBay aren't bad, for $50 they are a huge improvement over the standard headlights.

I've have a 29" cheapie at the front of my lux since mid 2015 and it does the job for offroad and country driving. But would love a decent one some day.

So ill test out this new 42 inch and if its any good ill surprise the misses with a 23 inch for her prado

For the price it was quite good, Ill do a review and see how well they stand compared to the reflector caps

Hi , I am doing the same thing but I have two seperate wire looms one for spot lights and one for the light bar. I have them working with the head light toggle to come on with high beam. My problem is when turning off the light bar stays on

If it isn't a wiring issue, and the spike protection is not a diode, try swapping the wires the 85 and 86 terminals, when running currents close to the rating of the relay some of the cheaper ones stay on because the magnetic field created by the load current is enough to hold the relay closed, reversing those wires makes that field appose the collapsing coil field and assists the release.

If it is a diode protected relay, try swapping the wires on the 30 and 87 terminals.

Not a common problem but has you chasing your tail the first time you encounter it.
