removal of Nokia hands free do-dad (pull out radio)

Postby rivmasta on Thu, 27 Jun 2013 1:19 +0000

another mod I want removed:

Ive got a nokia phone holder installed on the dash - and its for a 2008 nokia 2100 or something! haha

It's very solidly mounted to the dash, the mount disappears into the dash along side the radio.

Question is, how do I remove the radio so I can see how/where it is mounted without damaging anything?

Cheers,
Riv.

Well you've posted this in the pre 2005 section. Anyway, just pull the 3 control knobs straight off. Remove the single screw from behind the centre knob. Then it's just a matter of ripping the facia towards you(4 clips, one in each corner. Make sure you find the 4 clips if they fall off). Then there's 4 10mm bolts holding the radio in.
