Air horns

Air horns

Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone has installed a set of airhorns in their truck. If so, where did you put them? If you have any photos of the install, that would be greatly appreciated as well.

Cheers

Hi Zed,

Mate as an alternative have a look at the Narva electric, they fit in the same spot as the existing and you just plug the same connectors in, I have a set of old FIAMM electric horns that I've had for 25+ years, the Narva are an exact copy, they are about 5 times loader than the originals and cost about $50.

Just a thought.

Cheers John.

edit: guys here runs them on either on the roof rack and some on the front bar (guessed they don't do water crossing)

Some have fitted them in front of the radiator, steber have a horn thats a lot easier and smaller. Ive have had it go off in my ear repeatedly from a member on here winching and can tell you its bloody loud enough. Have a look through here viewtopic.php?f=13&t=12094&hilit=horny#p171812

Careful mouting them on the tin plate in front of the radiator, mine tore the tin plate and was hanging buy a thread and bashing against the air con radiator
