Not starting

My 08 d4d hilux wouldn't start this morning but everything else turned on and would try crank then stop and honk the horn. Thinking it might just be a flat batter didn't have any time to try anything just thought it was weird how everything would turn on and the horn going off. Just wondering if anyone has had this before and if it is just a flat battery.

Still could be the battery. Enough power to run some dash lights etc. but not enough to crank it over. It might have dropped a cell.

Im having same troubles atm tho i just get a click from the starter. Im thinking starter solinoid. Dual the batteries together getting 12.8v and still no go. Hit start with the key a few times and she fires over eventually :?
Check all your connections from battery through to starter and make sure all contacting properly. Its weird cause 2 mates with luxs are having same troubles atm
