Mounting a LED lightbar to the SR5 sports bar

Yeah definitely mate. I gotta admit, I was very disappointed that it didn't fit. It looked like a bloody ladder rack

Was making a custom bracket but my mate who imports the light bars has got some different adjustable mounts coming next week. Gunna give those a try. Then I'll have no excuse but to finally post a build thread. It's only taken 8 months

Anything wrong with just using the original brackets?

The brackets that came with it bolt on to each end of the lightbar, and they just hang over the curve at the end of the sports bar enough to not get a flush enough mount. The mounts I have coming are adjustable as they slide through a channel underneath the light. Will be a shitload easier and neater install.... I hope

A GME S/S bracket mounts is the go for mounting LED light bars, all sizes and very strong, fit roll bars bull bars nudge bars, all sizes have a look on ebay

We hardly get any reflection through our back window our new design much more secure anti theft nuts etc

How much light do you loose with it mounted n the sportsbar mate? Thats my concern, no point having it if you loose to much light

Should be through the bar itself.

It's a sr5 2013 has no wiring in it because there is no brake light in it

The bottom of the light bar sits exactly 1.005 inches from the top of the sports bar.
