Telstra Next G - Antenna on Bullbar

hi Guys,

I am in process of getting hands on an AXIS CLR7 7db GSM /NEXTG antenna, with 5 m coax and an FME connector. That's the easy bit. http://www.prestigecom.net.au/index.php ... ts_id=1407

The hard bit is that I need an appliance to perform induction, because the iphones do not have capability to directly interface with antenna TX within the iphone.

There are various cradles and also induction pad type products aroud the traps and heard of moderate success.

My question is, is that all there is to it? The iphone transmitter is able to transmit, through induction, out the coax, through the big heavy antenna?

There's no reamplication required?

this is the product i was going to use between the iphone, and the Antenna ... it does not require power, and neither do most cradles (they provide power for charging, i dont need or want a cradle and alerady have charging sorted) ... but surely there has to be some re-amplification involved here?
