but just to confirm mate, the adapter itself came from TOYOTA.

The Lead, comes from Fujitsu Ten?

I have the adapter sorted, but the lead is the sticking point ($88 delivered to perth)

Got the adapter / jack for $60

Now to find the lead! 3 different part numbers , 3 different costs, none in wa. Gunna go with cheapest one through a Toyota dealer who reckons $60 for lead and don't pay til I recieve it

Else try make one myself

Joegas what's the end of the lead tht plugs into sat nav look like , same as the end that goes into the aux plug?

it looks like a male version of the blue socket on the back of the head unit

you wont be able to make it yourself, there is a resistor in it that activates your aux...and the plug in the back is proprietry, not a general plug you would buy from jaycar..

Joe gas, toyota have emailed me photos of what they reckon are the lead (before I fork out money and have it ordered into my local dealer which is quite far away)

Does this look right to you?

As suspected the leads toyota have got for me don't seem to match the blue port on back of sat nav

Tho there is a spare white plug of some variety that could plug into the leads Toyota have sent me (pics of) , no idea and doubtful its suitable
