UHF install

Postby ronix on Wed, 23 Nov 2011 6:08 +0000

Hi guys, just picked up a 07 dual cab and looking at installing the uhf tonight. I want to install it below the ashtray and run the aerial coax and power supply thru the blank plates where the demister switch is. I also want to relocate the demister switch to the right hand side of the steering wheel where the other panel is so it can be easily used if required.

My question is - Is it as simple as cutting the five wires from the demister switch, lengthing the cable and reconnecting.
