How can you pack light when venturing to Fraser haha! Awesome trip, got home tonight, oober wrecked but got to journey from rainbow to tewantin on the beach thanks to the tides...

Fraser was incredible, couldn't wipe the grin off my face all week. Big freakin' island and I'm happy with the amount we covered in such short time.

The lux ate everything over there for breakfast, even hitting some washouts at 60km/h and still kept choofin'

Cheers man! That's the plan, I'm looking into some mtz's or km2's in the short term, but I was reluctant to get the tray, purely for work, the tub is still sitting at a mates haha

The thought of a builders trailer and putting the tub back on crosses my mind a fair bit haha

32x10.5 or 11.5 on a 15x8 zero offset rim... Not too much scrubbing before I got the lift once I removed the front mudguards. Now it's sweet still haven't scrubbed since

Here's a bit of an update...

I decided to remove the rotting timber in my tray and replace it with something a bit more sturdy, so 3mm steel chequer plate won. After a bit of help from some other forum members in another thread, I got into it last night and managed to get it all cut painted and fitted today...

I steel need to run a bead of silicone around all the edges so it's all watertight, then I'll be buying some ute mat tomorrow, then give the old girl a bit of a detail inside and out...

Here's some pics....

Cheers guys, it's come up a treat. I bought some ute matting yesterday so I should be free of scratches on the tray. Can't vouch for the cab though. Not even a heavy cut and polish can get some of mine out lom

Hey everyone just a bit of an update,

Really considering selling the lux for an upgrade, I figure now is the time to do it, it's done 225,000kms and i think if I keep it any longer I will lose too much money and just run it into the ground...

Most likely going to look at the 05-11 shape and working out figures at the moment but I was just interested what you guys would think it could sell for, there are some on carsales for as low as $7,000 and high as $23,000

It has;
Recond Engine (10,000km old)
Heavy Duty Clutch
2" tough dog heavy duty lift
32x11.5 on 15x8 sunnies (40% tread left I'd say)
Steel Bullbar
Driving Lights
Heavy Duty Bash Plate
Diff Breathers
ARB compressor and 2 outlets
Tigerz Winch
UHF
CD Player
Steel tray but will sell with the tub if needed (still in my possession)
New chequer plate tray
Rear ladder rack
Snorkel
Side Steps
Vanilla air freshner 8-)

I was thinking I'd like to sell it for about $16,000. Does that seem reasonable? I bought it for $16,500 but it has a buttload of extras...

Cheers Matt, how along ago did you buy and pay for yours if I can ask???

I think a big pro of mine is I can sell with the tray or tub for whoever wants what...
