Hi all, just joined the forum so I thought I'd chuck my POS up here...

Bought it about 4 years ago bog stock from the auctions as an old council car

Since I had it, its had a busted main rear seal, crank seal and busted big ends which cost me a full engine rebuild

To day it has;
*2" tough dog lift
*32" Maxxis Buckshots
*Steel Bullbar
*Snorkel
*Steel Tray
*Narva Spotties
*UHF with upgraded Aerial
*ARB compressor with plumbed lines to both rear sides
*Tigerz winch
*Heavy Duty bash plate
*Window tint
*MP3 stez with 2x6" boom boxes
*Front/Rear/Gearbox/Transfer diff breathers
*Dual Trailer Plugs

As I bought it

With the Bullbar and aerial on

Crap flex with 32's and no lift

As it sits now with lift and heavy duty plate

Ohh more sand! Haha I might have to come along. Just finished a massive post trip clean after our Easter trip to rainbow beach. There's still sand in some places, thankfully I have the vinyl interior!

G'day Mylesy, lux is coming along nicely... where abouts is that water crossing?

The water crossing is at the entry to pebbly beach down near wooli. Perfect crossing at run out tide, fresh water and about half sill height at the deepest. Thanks mate I'm finally getting things done. Once these 32s run out I will be looking at 33s.

I had a motorbike run into the back of my tray a few weeks ago so hopefully I might score a new tray out of it all which should be good!

Totalled it. The guy is one lucky dude. No scratches on him and he was wearing no safety gear bar a helmet. I had to pull his bike off my towbar. My towball went through his radiator. And I get a coupla scratches

Just a bit of an update for the hilux.

Today I scored a day off work so I managed to upgrade my headlights from the factory sealed beam sack to a semi sealed beam with 100W H4 white globes. Man it's an absolute bitch to get the grille out with a bullbar, antenna wiring ad a winch control box in the way!

I also added in an extra 55W dual lamp reverse light under my tray to give myself a bit more light in my backside.

The next plans for the time being is setting up some sort of roof basket on top with lights and an awning off it, fixing up the tray a bit with new timber decking and maybe a DIY steel frame canopy with canvas sides. All in good time ;)

I'll put photos up later on when I get to the computer...

Hey guys just thought I'd finally throw some photo's up of the hilux with a flex shot and extra reverse light...

I'm thinking the rear is too stiff for my liking so might go and get a leaf removed, how much does that usually cost??

Anyways, starting to cross all the boxes off the pre-trip list as were heading to fraser for a week mid august, so finally get to pop my fraser cherry... Heres the pics anyways, enjoy

So out of the blue about 2 weeks ago a few of me mates got on the piss around a fire and got starting talking sh!t about 4wding... As the carton ran dry and the fire got smaller, we somehow came to the conclusion of a sudden fraser island trip...

So with not much notice, I am frantically planning and getting things organised for the trip which is next tuesday for 7 days. This is my first expedition to fraser and I'm getting itchy feet and can't wait! I don't even know where we are camping yet, my mates got everything sorted, so I'm just folowing in convoy until we stop I guess haha... Now to get everthing ready!!!!

who's up for 'guess what's in the box' ;)

fairly simple though...
