2003 Hilux side mirror mod /upgrade

For a while now i've been wanting to upgrade the style side version of the wing mirrors on my Hilux to the bigger ones that come on the trayback utes, but i wasn't looking forward to drilling the holes further down to support the bracket.
After some digging I found a guy in the 4WD action forum that had put 60 series landcruiser mirrors on his lux to great success, as the criuser mirror bolt holes are the same as the hilux ones - http://www.4wdaction.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=116672

After seeing that I decided to have a crack at it myself
I ordered some cheap ones off ebay and got to work installing them
Here's the original mirrors
After removal
Cleaned
And installed
The only issue with this mod is that the mounts for the mirrors are curved for the cruiser door, but hiluxes have a relatively flat door, so you could either shave part of the mount back to flush, or pad it out with some rubber, as i have done
Another thing to note is that the mirror does not interfere with the weathershield
