'99 Dual Cab

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd share some photos of my new set up. This is my first 4wd and I went with 1999 dual cab diesel. It was pretty much stock when i got it with only the TJM bullbar and some cheap A/Ts on it.

This is it the weekend after I picked it up on a babying trip to the Alpine N.P.

Then I had new Lovell suspension installed and upgraded the wheels and tyres to 32" Cooper S/T Maxxs. It sits about 120mm higher now!

I also had a Kingone winch, safari snorkel and ARB air compressor installed.

I'm looking at getting rid of the rear bar and having a custom one made with recovery points as this one is just a big, heavy step under the tray.

Hopefully this weekend I'm taking it out to Wombat State Forest to see what it can do and then we are heading to Tasmania over new year for two weeks.

Future modifications include a new exhaust to get a bit more power, some rock sliders, dual battery system and if I'm feeling rich a set of air lockers.

Very nice mate welcome aboard!! Iv got a big soft spot for that gen as my first Fourbie was an 01 single cab. Still think some days i should never have parted with it! Best of luck!

Looking good Jared, agree with you on the rear step, they dont look any good on a tray and just restrict
