Picked up my new hilux last week. I thought i might stard a build thread so here it is.
I put bilstein 5100 struts in the front set at 2.5 inch. Using stock spring
6 32x11.5x15 bfg km2 on infinity blast sunnies 0 offset 15x8
Highlift jack ans shovel on kayman mount in tray

The box is from mw in southport, it's 2.5m alloy, they just had a white one in stock and I couldn't wait 3 weeks for a grey one so the plan was to paint it but being a plasterer I'm gunna get it covered in white crap anyway so I'm still not sure. it will get hotter too in grey.
Yeah I have heaps of stuff I wanna do do it I have the flears but in black so I'll get them sprayed and put them on. Next I'll get a bar. I stuck between deluxe arb and that new one monster rides have with the
Headlight hoops. When the bar is I'll get the front springs done and the back lifted an inch or 2. Then I'll get a tigers11 winch probably a big one coz I'll b towing a boat a lot.
Exhaust and chip at some stage and I would love to get lockers and rehear the diffs for the 32's
I'm a bit dirty I got 13.7l per 100 today nearly all on cruze 110, every tank gets worse

And I didn't fill it up this arve but the fuel light is on with 440 on the trip

i find that if i go over 100km/h it uses a lot more fuel. also remember that those tyres are about 8-9% slower on your speedo so really it would be more like 12.7l per 100kms

Thanks mate it rides really good even with tha back not done yet. I don't know how to find the part number but there bilstein 5100 from locktup4x4.com.au $400 delivered for the front adjustable from 0 to 2.5 inch and the rear 5100 struts they sell are also $400 and 3 inch. I'm really happy with how it rides and I give it a real hard time. I'll have a look for a number on them tomorrow. Didn't realize I was in pre 05 part. How do I ask?
