Thought I might make a wee write up to share my mods

I brought this..... and made them put some tjm bar work on,

then got some 265 75 r16 km2 bfgs and some ln107 springs as the they sat about a inch higher than my saggy ones,
Followed by hella 4000 on bullbar with 100w globes which are awesome!!

then I started seeing prado rims on these models while searching web and liked the look so....

Image

THEY WENT ON IT :D

Over here we use a mix of 26mhz and uhf so for now I got my 26mhz in, I also made a bracket for hand held uhf or my iphne when using maps on it

I have fitted diff breathers to front and rear diffs that go to engine bay then are connected into one pipe which runs up beside my latest mod a SNORKEL 8-) I brought the snorkel off a wrecker for $100 nz cash dirt cheap since there 600 normally :D then I got a template off a guy on NZ forums and instailed it my self.

I failed vehicle test for a blown headlight so put some semi sealed cystal head lights which has made a huuuuuge difference,

My list of 2dos now are,
-Sell tjm rear bar and put a custom are one to get more departure and to be able to grease rear shackels
-custom airbox with k N n filter
-custom bash plates
-dog box/storage box for deck
-roof lights hopefully led
-dual batterys
-turbo set up with front mount intercooler aim to make same if not more than a sheep shager
-tints
-sr5 headlights
-sr5 flares
-clear inderctors on gaurds
-uhf
-lift
-33s
-nigly other things that piss me off over time

Will keep updateing :D

Just say "Darling, a new Hilux will cost a fortune and i'll be spending all my time working to pay it off, when i'd rather be spending my time with you" ;)

And then just buy some comfy seats to keep mumsy happy.

But if you want a newer Lux, i say "Go for it!!" :D
