Bit on the rear bar finally got some time to do some work on it nearly done now all modified and back together mostly all welded buck massive gob getting it all to fit back properly and nice but getting there. There is two things I have learnt from this whole experience first thing ARB make the stuff vey well very hard to get it all apart. And the other is that I can't weld for shit hahaha but nearly there now pics up soon

I will when I finally finish it haha been working six days a week and been sleeping on my day off so still sitting on the shelf will get to it soon hopefully.

On a side note put a full new stereo in the Lux today pioneer seven inch touch screen with four alpine type r splits with the old sub and amp it sounds very nice a litle too loud for a dual can but good for up the beach with the car as a duke box will get some pics tomoz and posted up

Okay so am in a litle bit of a pickle have been spending a fair bit of coin on the lux of late but am still not one hundred percent happy with it am starting a new job in about a court night and the return trip to and from work will be around three hundred ks a day which is 3/4 a tank of fuel for me and I think it is time to cut my losses and upgrade.
But I do u guys think it would. E worth me trying to get the e onamy out of the v6 or just upgrade turbo deisel and start fresh. Any thoughts would be great. Cheers Russ

Since my last post thing have changed and am once again keeping the Lux. Finally finished my rear bar but now it's going and will be replaced with a full custom tray and new towbar to suit up high probly bolted between the chassis rails with a hitch receiver welded into it and a drop down tongue. Tray starts next Friday was going to do what Kyle did and buy a tray then mod it but after maken a tray for my mates cruiser today I'm just gonna make my own from scratch pretty much goin to make a replica of parts tray but longer to suit my tool boxes and work needs. Will post the picks of the rear bar now and tub set up I have now tommorrow. And will post progress pics of the tray next weekend should come out good going on what we achieved today I should get it done in a weekend. Lots of measuring to be done tommorrow.

Yeah good jack got the suspension sorted and it's levelled out now. Drives heeps better now. Ordered my new shocks and a bull at for it just waiting for them to get here then it's done for now.....

eBay is your friend. Plenty of kits on there. They include diff drop kits as well. Was looking at getting a set too

Thanks mate will have a look. Won't be dropping my diff at this point my cvs ate on a pretty good angle just need about another inch of lift to clear my thirty threes and ill be happy.

Hey Luxxy have ordered one of those kits off eBay should be here Monday Tuesday next week will put it in when I do my diff seal and let you know still not sure I will drop my diff but will c what the cv angles look like when I put it on the ground.

Nice looking truck mate, I have an 03 Xtra Cab with the 3.4 V6 & thought it might be worth while mentioning to you about cleaning the MAF sensor near the air filter canister. I just did mine & its running a whole heap better & I'm hoping it will improve fuel economy as well. Just don't touch the little steel prongs or glass bulb on the MAF sensor & it should be all good.
