2002 RZN169 D/Cab Build (very slow)

Hi, new to newhilux and just picked up my new hilux on friday, i'm on my P's and still at school so its gonna be a slow build. I'm hoping to get out on tracks around Brissy and learn heaps about my hilux.
Its a 2002 SR5 Dual Cab with a few mods and its done 149000ks.

Mods thats its got currently
2inch Body Lift
HD Suspension
Nuge Bar
Cheap Pair of Spooties
Tradie Ladder Racks on the back with cover
Canopy (Canvas)
Set of 31s for the Sand and around town with allied wasp rims
Set of 31s with stock hilux wheels and muddies (kuhmo kl 71)
Extractors and New Muffler system
Tow bar
JVC Double Din Headunit
Crappy Amp and Average Speakers with tweets
RWC

Mods that i hope to eventually get
2 inch suspension lift
33s if the 2.7L can get some gears aswell
Snorkle
Bullbar
UHF
Floor Mats
Bigger Fuel Tank
Alpine speakers with amp (DONE)
Bonnet Protector
Rear Bar
Sliders
New Window Tint (just starting to peel)
Underbody protection
Lockers F and R
Winch to go with the bar

Welcome stuart,

The mods will come soon, im an apprentice and ive got a long wait till my lux starts rolling into what i wish to make it. Stick to it and that lux will become a beast in no time :D
For the tailgaters, If you think im going slow now. Wait till i hit my low gears

GU Patrol ;) 4" Lift 10"F/12"R Fox shocks, TD05 18G Turbo, 33" Bighorns, Rear locked and the usual comfort mods

Might be heading to Ripley on Wednesday, got to get the mud tyres on her i think :D First time at Ripley with my mates so it will be interesting. Any one got any tips for Ripley?

Haha always good to see a mitsubishi constantly being recovered. Nice rig mate keep it up

wish i would have seen this earlier, i put up on Facebook that i was keen for ripley but all my mates with 4wds work in ippy and didnt get the show day :( next time aye! nice ride for a p-plater mate! send me a PM when your heading out there next

Dam that's a clean looking hilux mate! The Mitsubishi makes me laugh but atleast his out there having a go ;)

its a very good spot to play...a few hairy spots tho, i know of a couple of people that have lost their pride and joy out there...pretty good for 5 mins from the centre of town ;) ;)
