Im with the rest of the boys, Protection first before anything. I would be getting sliders man, Ive got sidesteps and are slowly coming off, One of my sidesteps is only held on by 1 bracket now.

The rest of the gear can wait. You will need a UHF, It shits me to tears when you all have a radio and one guy doesnt, Handhelds are fine but sometimes go berserk and make you sound like you came from Mars.

Would Def buy the UHF and sliders. Heck give the sliders a go yourself

Miller, Myself and Jarrad all will be trying to make our own Sliders, We have the welder and my job is all about welding, So its a fun project for all 3 rigs

Thanks for the ideas guys, got the rear diff breather in today and will get to the front, tranny and gearbox on the weekend. Talking to my oldman about sliders, we built a Piranna buggy together (he did most of it) along time ago so hopefully some of the metal working skills will come back...see how we go :) Really hopeing my XROX bar gets here soon only a few more working days left before LCMP :D Finished my last school exam ever today to, only one more week to go 8-)

Finished up the Transfer Case and Gearbox Breather today. Took me awhile to figure out how to get the hose onto the connector...

I'm hoping the tiny lip is enough for that clamp and hose to stay there  , ill have to keep an eye on it.

During this week i'll have to pick up some filters for the ends and try to make it look neat in the engine bay.

Bit of an update, lux now has a XROX Bar :)

Sorting out the million nuts and bolts...
Image

After a few attempts it ended up like this
Image

Taking the luxs front bar off and doing some minor cutting of the plastics
Image

All fitted up 8-)
Image

With my old spotties cause it looked a bit wierd without anythin
Image

Also got rid of the POD filter and put the old airbox and filter in so hopefully it wont get water in her as easy also got a Auto Lokka at a really good price and its been amazing, lovin it every time i go out, hopefully i dont break a cv as easy cause i wont be driving her as hard (thats the theroy anyway)

Next plans for the lux

Fit my UHF
HID Spotties or Normal to fill that bar
Sliders

Early next year ive got a goal of gettin her up another 2 inch with a EFS comfort kit or something to make her flex and gettin some 33s with new ratios, hopefully gonna be doing heaps more 4bying next year with a few new mates at Blackwater 8-)

Coincidentally, I parked my Lux at the side of the road to scribble some notes and one of the rear tyre was on wet grass and the other was on dry tarmac.

When I drove off aggressively, I expected lots of wheel spin from the tyre on the wet grass but the LSD was working as the tyre on the dry tarmac took traction quickly after the tyre on the wet grass.
Minimal wheel spin and a chirp and the Lux was moving.

Still amazes me after 5 years + and 140,000 kms.

I had a clear one on mine and cleaning wasn't a issue, just have to slide a rag under when washing. Just fitted the tinted one on the other day! I like it! Will post a pick for ya.

Ethan it might be worth dropping either Monster matt or Jack S a pm as Jack is trying to get a scrub bar made up to connect to the Xrox not sure if its a goer or not

Its what I paid from Sydney city Toyota! Looks like all the bits that I got with mine too. The tinted one comes over and covers the corners of your guard too where as the clear ones don't. Pay attention to the instructions and put the little stickers where they say as to protect your paint. Like I said I like mine! Your rig is looking good mate!
