hi guys;

This is the first online community that i have joined, so bare with me.

I purchased my first hilux in november last year a 2002 factory turbo desiel, got it stock standard with a bullbar. straight away i got a 2 way and gensis light force spotlights and a set of MT MTZ 31s on black sunraysiers. i then built a coustom tray with LED tail lights and 2 x work lights

this old girl struggled to get to 100km/h towing one quad let alone two and loaded, borrowed my uncles SR duel cab recently for a hunting trip and it could tow it at 130km/h easily so i went and put the Xtra cab on order and i dont need a duel cab and would like more tray space.

Having a ball in the old lux, i have just purchased a 2011 SR build xtra cab silver. not mucking around i have ordered straight from the dealer the following;
- ARB delux bullbar
- ARB side steps and brush bars
- 12,000 pound warn winch ( is this too BIG?)
- Tray master tray
- Long range ARB tank

It wuld also be good if any body could let me know what they have purchased there SR Xtra cabs utes for?

cheers

Gday, welcome u going to have a ball on here. U right u havent beaton around the bush. Thats a pretty pricey makeover. U must be pretty excited to get ur hands on her. Probably a 9500 winch would have done but who am I to say. Are you going to do anything to the suspesion as u probaly know thats a fair bit of wieght on the front end :D

Depends how stuck you plan on getting :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm running a 9000 lb winch and its pulled me and any one else out that I have needed too.

mind you If you ever wish to pull a camper then the 12000 lb is a better bet

Try Matt from MOnster Rides (forum Sponsor) with the kit on the below link. I think you will be impressed, especially if you are after a 3 - 4 inch lift :twisted:
