Howdy all, figured i would introduce myself, I live in Darwin, looking at upgrading to my first fby in the next couple of months, tossing up about a few different options, and ofcourse one of those is a newish Hilux dual cab.

Yeah sweet i love mine, easily the best looking 4x4 on the road.
Go the diesel, especially up where you are. There are a heap of little mods you can learn off this site to tweak the Lux up.

this is a great place to research how much of a hole is going to be burnt into your wallet like all of us have found out :lol: we are looking 4ward to seeing the lux purchase and build ;)

Thanks Guys,

Yea. i'm looking forward to it have been tossing up between the petrol and diesel, i have many things that burn massive holes in my wallet :mrgreen: this is just another vice :lol: we are planning on doing the cape trip next June/ July with another mate who owns a Prado, so this gives me something to work to over the next few months, so i will be gathering as much info and advise as to which is the best setups and gear to purchase :D ... It's going to be a camping/ Hunting rig, so should be lots of fun building it up ;)
