Howdy From Perth

Postby Maze_Sparky on Sun, 08 Aug 2010 6:26 +0000

Hey dudes well I'm from Perth western Australia around the northern suburbs ive been on this forum for a bit now absolute cracker of a site just a mountain of info,

Any who ive just purchased my new 10 SR5 Dual cab Auto V6 last week in charcoal grey and i must say WOW its just a pleasure to drive and to look at  especially coming out of a troopy diesel and i love the power the V6 has got compared to the 1HZ  .

Ive already started the mods  i love my music so the stock stereo and speakers had to go so the first weekend i purchased pioneer speakers 6.5 for fronts with tweeters and 6 for rear, pioneer 4 channel amp to power them and a double din alpine head unit iXA-W407EBT.

Next will be suspension probably 3 inch and new tyres probably 33 but the mod list is very long

I can see why ya love the v6 especially after driving around with a 1HZ under the bonnet :!: ive only got the d4d but Id love to test drive the v6, everyone says they go hard!
Good lock with the lift and 33's, should look nuts

Thanks for that mate.
Much appreciated.
Did you have to trim any metal/plasticwork to get the speakers in?
