trip to exmouth

gday just bought me hilux and gonna go on a trip up to exmouth do some fishin and divin in october a from bunbury... just wondering if anyone could help me out on the some places to see or stay on the way up... good fishin and diving spots i only 19 and first time up north just bit of feedback guys cheers

If you can talk to someone who knows what is going on in the parks department, ask them how to get a camp site inside the park. I don't know when it starts to quieten down, they had 8 campers at the gate the morning we left and there was 16 a couple of days before. You can't book so you might have to wait outside the park. We stayed at Ned's camp, the closest to Exmouth, whale shark boats and the "gate". You can launch a boat off the beach and there is an opening in the reef straight out from camp. Ned's has a toilet but thats all, no water. You get that near the T intersection to the north.
Parks should be able to give you all the up to date info.
Skeney is a member who lives in Exmouth, he is probably the better bet for info.
