I have the Hilux 06 2WD extra Cab automatic, had a Falcon AU 2002 XLS ute prior to this. The Hilux really drives well and is quite comfortable however the build quality is where the Toyota product shines, the Falcon rode much nicer and was quiet inside etc but for everything else the Hilux rules.
Currently sporting the Monster Rides high performance exhaust system and a K&N airfilter with a peak power of 206rwhp, VERY NICE. Really hauls although still a little slower than my Supercharged Subaru Impreza 2.5 liter, in time I will cure this deficiency.
There is a ProSequential piggyback ECU wired in which is problem free for tuning at a later date to optimise with exhaust and forced induction. For now it runs flat maps and has no influence on the total power produced.
